Welcome to the Klammerhof!


A warm "hello" with us at the Klammerhof. Our farm is located at 900m above sea level between Zell am Ziller and Gerlos directly at the mountain railway and is an ideal starting point for a diverse holiday in the mountains, whether with the family, the partner or alone. The Klammerhof is surrounded by a fascinating mountain world, true to our motto: "the experience begins right on the doorstep!"

The 'Klammerhof' is situated in idyllic mountain site, directly at the Gerlosstein cable car station, which takes hikers to a wonderful romantic hiking area and skiers directly onto the pists of the Gerlosstein skiing area, including the 7 km sliding slope.

The Klammerhof is located in the village centre of Hainzenberg - Dörfl. The ski area "Zillertalarena-Gerlosstein" is within easy walking distance. The village of Hainzenberg is situated on a plateau 4km from Zell am Ziller (between Zell am Ziller and Gerlos).


By car:
Take the Inntalautobahn (A12) exit "Zillertal" and follow the Zillertal-Bundesstraße (B 169) for about 25km. Leave the B 169 at the exit "Zell am Ziller Mitte" and follow the Gerlos-Bundesstraße (B 165) in the direction "Hainzenberg - Gerlospass".

After about 4,5 km you will reach our farm/house in Hainzenberg-Dörfl (6278 Hainzenberg, Dörfl 345).

By train:
Take the train to Jenbach (express train station) and change to the Zillertalbahn (railway/bus) for Zell am Ziller. Then, either take a bus or call a taxi to Hainzenberg.

Family skiing area 'Gerlosstein':
Away from the crowds,the tiny Skiing Area Gerlosstein offers tons of fun for Families and Relaxed skiers. The Gerlosstein Cable Car takes you directly from Hainzenberg up to the slopes. Valid for this area are Ski passes for “Zillertal Arena” as well as the “Super Ski Pass”.

Mining Chapel and “Wurzensepp”:
Inside of the in 1250 built House Unterflörler, one can still find the historical mining chapel. Walter Burgstaller (alias Wurzensepp) takes care of the chapel and also shows his mineral collection there.

Climbing Gerlossteinwand - the Zillertal's first fixed-rope climbing route:
The new 380 meter long fixed-rope climbing route, "Gerlossteinwand", leads along a 240 meter high wall on the same-named mountain. It doesn't only offer Alpine pleasures, but also leads to one of the valley's most beautiful peaks.

Introductory trial climbs for beginners are offered on the new route, categorized as medium difficult, which was constructed by the local mountain rescue team, in cooperation with the Zillertal Arena. The local alpine sports schools provide expert tips and accompany beginners on the climb, which can be comfortably reached with the Gerlosstein cable car.

Arena Skyliner - not for the faint hearted...
A new flying machine and a further development of the Flying Fox, provides even more fun, action and an incomparable bird’s-eye view to all Arena guests! The Arena Skyliner runs on 4 routes with a length of up to 738 m and hurtles with a maximum speed of 50 km/h over the Gerlosstein region.

Sliding at the Hainzenberg:
With a lengh of 7,5 km, Gerlosstein is the longest sliding slope in the valley. By day or night – always an adventure. The Gerlosstein Gondola takes you up to the top which is the start of the lightened slope. A Slide Rental is directly at the Gondola.
